Great tutorial Jezper! I tried using this technique in my new track, but because it’s a bit quicker (147 bpm) it sounded a bit busy so it switched the original synth’s signal to sends only so I just get the verb effect which sounds great, sort of a super wide pad effect which adds a bit of depth to another lead sound I’m using!
    Thanks again for sharing dude!

Thanks man. I’m a Logic Pro user but I have found your videos useful. i really liked that you put up something about sound design.

Well, the sounds in the track are not the same as in the tutorial. The instrument is different, the compressor settings are probably different, the key of the notes are higher and they are chords instead of single notes. However, it’s all the same principle, it’s all about fine tuning the settings (specifically the side chained compressor

In your example at 23 seconds the main synth sounds different than your finished product in the tutorial. In the example it sounds like you may have used a filter or reversed the audio of the main synth to run into itself (or perhaps its delay). I was wondering if you could comment on how you did this, it sounds cool!

Check under the View-menu, turn on In/Out or what it’s named. That’s where you choose to show and hide those functions
