I would like to know how to change the language on sound forge 10. I have Japanese unicode selected on my computer, so that when I play Japanese games, It doesn’t appear in funky symbols. I downloaded the update for 10.b in ENGLISH, and when i restarted my computer, the program was in Japanese. It did this to me with sony vegas, and I fixed it, but I can’t remember how. Please respond

Hoe do you take out music on sound forge but not the singing so how to pretty much make the song an accapella

  3. innerstatejt says:

@bangdaho yes and no. you can set markers which can then me read by some other programs but it doesn’t actually beatmap in the way the ableton, , pro tools, logic or cubase would.

  4. bangdaho says:

can you beat mapp music with this program?

Sound forge hasn’t got any more effects than Ableton is capable of, but the purpose of sound forge is specifically for editing and mastering songs so it has certain tools that cater to editing. I’ve been using it for 10 years, so it’s something i’m very comfortable with. I have been known to select loop sections in Ableton too (and consolidate). It really comes down to what works for you.

whats the diferent of using Sound Forge and Ableton, Audio wise…?

you can do this all on Ableton yeah?

you probably get more effects on Sound Forge though..

    cheers

  8. innerstatejt says:

yes, if it’s a loop of 4-8 bars (maybe more) you dont need to beatmap it. Mainly full songs need to be beatmapped

Sir I just got off the phone with my friend and he said if I cut out loops using soundforge and save the loops in .wav extension, then my tracks or loops of two different tracks can be beatmatched on acid pro without using the beatmapper on acid pro. Is this possible? thank you very much sir.

Hey man I was just wondering can you use this with FL Studio 8? I’m thinking about getting Forge 7, 8, or 9 to use this for my samples and chops and transport it there from Sound Forge.

Hey when i want to save a song with the sample rate at 1.12 instead of the usual 1.00, but when i input the number, the audio speeds up the way i want it, but when i go to save it as a mp3 it does have the song sped up. Can you please help me?

You can grab any sound and sample as long as it’s on it’s own but you can’t extract vocals from other instruments.

is it possible that i can import a song and then and take out a sample for example kick, vocals ect, please reply

  22. innerstatejt says:

My suggestion is to buy Ableton.. but pretty much all DAW programs have timestretching features (reason, recycle, acid, logic, cubase, protools, sonar..etc)
