The MIDI remapping on this Twitch in Ableton is amazing!
Touchstrip as effects’ parameters (or is it wet/dry?) “knob” :O

  2. SHUJINCELL says:

Novation actually cares enough about their products to get demonstrators that know what they’re doing. This was 1000x better than the MPC renaissance video.

  3. electroscandal says:

    @Redwavepr1 tags say ableton

  4. technicalerr0r says:

    great hardware, awful awful software.

  5. JaIsTx says:

I like how he goes ape shit on every pot at the end.

  6. MarctheDarc says:

Imho THE computer-DJ’ing unit on the market. Just seems more immediate, more fun, not to forget great value.
    Nice sounding demo-performance as well.

I can finally understand what Moldover is doing with a machine.

  8. Redwavepr1 says:

is that with itch or with ableton?

Nice video demonstrating the use of the Twitch but I’d rather view it from a single fixed camera on the controller to show the use of controls rather than jumping to multiple cameras and the out-of-focus shots… I know what you’re trying to do with said effects but it’s supposed to be showcasing a midi controller, not a stunt.

  13. MrPopinjay says:

@djSpinege I know, just seemed like an odd unrelated comment :)

  14. djSpinege says:

Because he makes his own Controllers. didn’t you know that? i said there the best. but this (as in the twitch) is cool too. hope you get it now. cheers.

  15. MrPopinjay says:

@djSpinege Why are you talking about other controllers then?

  16. djSpinege says:

@MrPopinjay did i say he did? no.

  17. Mixikyr says:

If it’s Live, what does he use to do that knob scratch?

  18. viperfunk says:

Well, they added Ableton Live to the tags….and it sure looked like he was using Live. I’m guessing so.

  19. viperfunk says:

nice breakbeats :) Looks like he was using Live…does anyone know?

  20. MrPopinjay says:

@djSpinege He didn’t make the twitch controller.

  21. djelevation916 says:

Is he using ITCH or Live? Moldover is usually a Ableton controllerist right.

  22. djSpinege says:

Mr. Moldover makes the best controllers. this is cool too.

  23. Logicfray says:

I’m a big fan of his, his albums are excellent.

  24. somedjdesigns says:

Moldover has always said that he isn’t a dj so whats this all about???

i think he likes it thumbs ups!

  25. derLordVetinari says:

@AlexRider001 Where the difference is? Are you kidding? If you don’t see it, I can’t help you. But first of all it’s selfmade…

  26. AlexRider001 says:

@derLordVetinari where … exactly is the difference? between this and other midi controllers?

  27. musicandfaith says:

    Do you use Ableton? Reaktor?

  28. radiokoala says:

works like charm in keeping up one’s spirits!

  29. Rochondil says:

This is amazing! You have my most humble respect for making such a great instrument and for mixing such incredible music.

  30. redg82 says:

Just amazing! want to be like you!

  31. MorbidVideoProd says:

    Well done Sir!

  32. Stevieboy74 says:

This is just beyond epic! Seriously…you my friend are a genius. I’d kill to able to learn skills from someone like you. Outstanding and more superlatives on top!

  33. kaffeinsuchtiger says:

@derLordVetinari It’s not about the controller, but rather the end result.

  34. djcondra says:

That there is a thing of beauty. You should make and sell boutique midi controllers.

  35. albertleelanders says:

This is one of the best examples of blending the old with the new. Very inspirational to me. anyone that can’t dig is a fool.

  36. StartSelect1 says:

@derLordVetinari Yeahh you are right there.. i do not know of a video like this.

  37. derLordVetinari says:

@StartSelect1 I just meant, that there are a lot of useless videos on youtube, where someone is just pushing buttons and is not doing something special. But this video is something special. Even if you think that it is useless for you. I would like to see more of this videos, because it gives impressions and ideas to make your own controller.

  38. StartSelect1 says:

    @noveNiz0r Hmm not really.

  39. StartSelect1 says:

@derLordVetinari I don’t want to be rude, but isn’t making music (by that i mean all forms ie writing, producing, just playing etc..) about enjoyment and the sound you create? It doesnt matter if a ‘wannabe DJ’ (lol) uses a preset – that’s why it’s there?
This guy has made a beautiful controller, but fuck ever using it for anything other than a conversational piece.

    TL;DR looks nice, but impractical.

  40. GMDdigital says:
