Question by Cocoon: Ableton Live & Propellerhead Reason?
They both have almost identical functionality I assume.
Which is better or where can they both be used ?

Ableton Live is for editing audio & MIDI. However, in Reason, you can only edit MIDI. Neither one is “better”, it just depends on what tasks you’re trying to accomplish.

i dont use ableton but most sequencers usually call this function mixdown or export.
make sure the punch in/out times are at the start/end of the song.
