Question by princeidoc: bass not loud enough in Ableton Live?
I’m recording at home with Ableton Live using a Line 6 Toneprt UX1. My big problem is that none of the bass presets are LOUD enough. I can adjust the mix later and of course increase the gain, but both of those eventually distort the sound of the bass. I can’t find a bass preset thats even close, and I’m tired of tediously turning down all the other tracks in the mix just to hear the bass. All of the other tracks/instruments/presets are closer to the same volume range. Whats the deal &how do I fix it?

Check for:
Increase the Volume on the amps.
Make sure the output on the top right corner is turned up.
On the Mixer, you can increase the input signal by increasing the DI.
Use a compressor. This helps ALOT!! increase the gain. Mess with it a little and see what happens.
Hopefully this helps.
I don’t play bass but hopefully this works. Good Luck
