Ableton Live Tutorial 2 – Drums with Impulse

In this tutorial we’re going to start to learn about the ableton live drum machine instrument called ‘impulse’. This is one of many drum machines that you can use in ableton live, and impulse is a good a place to start as any. We are going to learn how to load an instrument into the mixing area in order to make our own beats. We’ll be using the mouse to ‘draw’ in the beats during this tutorial. You will also learn how to open up the ableton live program and start to put into practice the things that were introduced in the first tutorial.
