An invisible drumset was used to demostrate Drumagog’s real-time capabilities. Microphones were pointed at both knees, the floor, and a shoulder. Each microphone was connected to an interface, which was connected to a computer running Ableton Live. Each microphone was assigned to a track in Live, with an instance of Drumagog on each track. Each Drumagog had an appropriate sample (kick, snare, hihat, cymbal), and played samples in real-time when the microphone detected each hit. Thanks to Sonic State.

Have an album to release and was thinking of putting some extra content in the form of the seperate parts for use in ableton (or anything else) for live remixing etc

Do any other artists do this?

Hey i have recently used a program called ableton and rockband.

does anyone know where ic an get a copy of these from? and i mean legally such as a trial or something.

if nto does anyone know any free software that does the same job?

You can download a trial version of Ableton Live from their website: http://ableton.com/downloads

Though if you’re looking something free, Reaper is the best you’ll find. A license costs $ 50, but the trial version has no limitations of any kind, so it’s essentially free. http://reaper.fm/
