Question by : Is there such a thing like Cubase 5 & Ableton Live 8 can do something that FL Studio 9 cant?
I have a question in my mind since very long, seems like no one can give a good answer :(
I know there had been going so much debate on choosing sequencers. What is the truth actualy?
Can somebody tell me is there big difference between Ableton Live 8, FL Studio 9 & Cubase 5? Is there such a thing like Cubase & Ableton can do something which FL cant? As far as i know all the professionals use Cubase,Logic or Pro Tools. Why?? Is there something that they can do but FL cant? Im already a fluent FL user, and im just into Trance music (sometimes Classical). Will FL serve me well? Or it has some lack of abilities?

Fruity Loops will serve you fine. A lot of people give FL a hard time. I suspect that they don’t really know how to use music software properly. There are no features on Sonar, Cubase, Logic or Pro Tools that aren’t on Fruity Loops. Everything is there.

Both are great, capable hosts, for both starters and advanced users. Do rely too much on other people’s opinion, try the demo versions and see which one fits you best.

Question by presidentflush: Whats best out of these softwares-Logic Pro,Cakewalk,Ableton,Fruity Loop,Cubase,Reason,FL Studio Sony Acid?
Just wanted to know which of these is the best for recording your guitar and vocals onto, then adding drums, bass, piano etc from the actual software.

Adding the drums and bass by actually arrnging them note for note, and not just using samples or already made beats. One where I make them.

Money is not an issue, as I am really serious.

Basically which software is the best out of these and most professional?
